UAE Sustainability Fellowship Celebrates Graduation of Second Cohort
Dubai, UAE – SUNDAY – The UAE Sustainability Fellowship marked a major milestone with the graduation of its second cohort in a prestigious ceremony held at Emirates Towers, under the esteemed patronage of Her Excellency Ohood Al Roumi.
This year’s fellows, representing both the public and private sectors, successfully completed a transformative journey, exploring key topics such as AI for sustainability, biodiversity, green finance, and digital innovation. Designed to empower sustainability leaders with cutting-edge knowledge and skills, the fellowship continues to drive impactful change across industries.
A key highlight of the event was the launch of the 2024 CSO Network Survey Results, offering valuable insights into sustainability leadership, ESG integration, and technological advancements across 100 organizations. These findings are set to shape the region’s sustainability strategies, strengthening corporate commitment to environmental responsibility.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Samiullah Khan, Chief Sustainability Officer at Fakhruddin Holdings and Vice President of FEDA, who attended as a special guest. His insights and contributions underscored the importance of cross-sector collaboration in advancing sustainable initiatives.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Yasar Jarrar emphasized that the UAE Sustainability Fellowship is more than just a training program—it is a movement to inspire real change and action. With ADNOC’s support and a growing network of sustainability experts, the newly graduated fellows are poised to lead the transition toward a greener, more inclusive future.
