Mahindra’s new Chakan plant to build 90,000 EVs annually: Veejay Nakra
The Mahindra Group has ramped up its focus on tapping India’s electric vehicle market. The auto major has inaugurated a new manufacturing and battery assembling facility at its Chakan plant in Maharashtra. The facility will be part of the group's ₹16,000 crore investment plan, out of which ₹4,500 crore has been allocated for EV manufacturing.
