ISHRAE: The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals.

ISHRAE has a total of 59 chapters/sub-chapters, including 6 international chapters, with membership count stands at over 25000 which includes both regular and student members.

The Middle East Engineering Recognition Awards 2025 (MEERA) was held on the 15th February at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai by ISHRAE UAE to honor and recognize the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) project that has set a benchmark for excellence in INNOVATION, MEP design, execution,  and sustainability in the Middle East Region.

It celebrates a project that has made a significant impact, demonstrating outstanding performance, energy efficiency, and alignment with cutting-edge engineering and sustainability goals.

Dr.Samiullah khan and team received two recognitions  “ Innovative MEP Project of the Year” and “ Sustainability Project of the Year” award for their project “ Treppan Hotel and Suites by Fakhruddin”
