4 killed, 3 injured in Oman road accident; Indian among deceased, media reports say

Four people were killed in an "mass casualty incident" in Oman, according to the country's Ministry of Health. The incident also injured three individuals.

The Omani ministry said that the injured were taken to Al Rustaq Hospital's emergency department.

According to Indian media reports, one Malayali, identified as Afzal, was among the deceased. The Malappuram native was killed in a road accident at around 9pm on Sunday, Malayalam media said.

The accident took place when Afzal's car collided with another vehicle, media reports said.
