On Monday, December 22, the coffee giant announced that Anand Varadarajan will take over as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) starting January 19, 2026.
The thing is, this isn’t just another corporate hire. Starbucks is currently in the middle of a high-stakes “Back to Starbucks” turnaround led by new CEO Brian Niccol.
