Ayushman Bharat: Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the central government provides free treatment up to ₹5 lakh. If your Ayushman card has been issued and there are errors, it may be rejected. Let’s find out when your Ayushman card may be rejected.
Ayushman Bharat: The Indian government launched the Ayushman Bharat scheme as a government insurance scheme. Its purpose was to provide free treatment to low-income people. For this, you need to obtain a card. The Ayushman card is the most important document to avail of free treatment, but even a small discrepancy in the information can result in the card being rejected. All information entered while making the Ayushman card must match the Aadhaar data and the source data exactly. If the data does not match at any level, the application may be rejected.
It should be noted that the Ayushman Card is a health card issued by the Government of India in 2018 under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana). This card provides free treatment up to ₹5 lakh annually at thousands of government and private hospitals across the country. Its special feature is that it requires neither an agent nor long queues. The government has made this process completely digital. This card has been introduced for economically weaker sections so that they can receive treatment for serious illnesses without any financial burden.
In such a situation, the Ayushman card may be rejected.
1. Card may be rejected if Aadhaar data and source data on NHA portal do not match.
2. The card can also be rejected if there is a difference between the father’s name recorded in the Aadhaar card and the father’s name recorded in the source data.
3. Gender mismatch between Aadhaar and source data
4. Mistakes or discrepancies in the date of birth records
5. Address mismatch between Aadhaar and source data
