CCI fines Intel ₹27 crore on ‘discriminatory’ warranty policy for 8 years
The CCI said the case was based on a complaint by Delhi-based Matrix Info Systems Pvt Ltd that said Intel’s policy for India was amended in 2016, under which warranty requests for microprocessors in India would be entertained only when purchased from an authorized Indian distributor.
