The Indian embassy in Tel Aviv has issued a safety advisory for its nationals in Israel, urging them to stay alert and strictly follow security guidelines issued by the authorities.
Indian citizens have also been advised to avoid all non-essential travel to Israel and to contact the embassy's 24x7 helpline in case of emergencies.
In an advisory posted on their website, the embassy said, "In view of the prevailing situation in the region, all Indian nationals currently in Israel are advised to remain vigilant and strictly adhere to the safety guidelines and protocols issued by the Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command."

Earlier, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs had issued an advisory urging Indian citizens to avoid travel to Iran until further notice and has asked those already in Iran to leave immediately using available commercial flights.
