Inspiring Joy During Reading Time

National Reading Month is a timely reminder that helping children build strong literacy habits starts with making reading joyful, engaging, and accessible.

Ask any teacher or parent what helps a child become a confident reader, and the answer is rarely worksheets alone. It’s rhythm. It’s repetition. It’s joy.

Research consistently shows that early literacy development is strongest when children are actively engaged.
