Jimmy Lai, Hong Kong ex-media tycoon, gets 20 years in jail over national security offence

Jimmy Lai, a former Hong Kong media tycoon, has been sentenced to 20 years in jail for a national security offence. The High Court of the HKSAR last December found Lai guilty of two charges of conspiring to collude with external forces and one count of conspiracy to publish seditious materials.
