NMC approves integration of clinical research into medical curriculum, assessment and training, says chairperson
The National Medical Commission has approved the integration of clinical research into the core medical curriculum, assessment and training framework. NMC Chairperson and NBEMS President Dr Abhijat Sheth said clinical research would become a mainstream component of clinical medicine at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The NMC will form a committee with ICMR, IITs and other institutions to draft proposals. Sheth also highlighted ethical integration of AI in medical education.
