Plane carrying Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar crashes, 'no survivors' yet authority says
Ajit Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, was aboard a plane that has crashed in Maharashtra's Baramati on January 28. According to the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) the veteran politician was on board with two more personnel and two crew members. Th authority said in a statement: "As per initial information, no person on board has survived the crash." The plane was seen engulfed in flames after it crashed in the Pune district. Rescue operations are still underway with teams on site.
