The identity of a security officer who risked his life to save a man who jumped from the upper floor of the Masjid Al Haram in Makkah was revealed. On Thursday, the Kingdom's Ministry of Interior said that a man threw himself from the upper floor of the Grand Mosque in an attempt "to take his own life." Prince Abdulaziz said what Al-Asiri did was a humane and noble stance that represents the highest meanings of sacrifice and selflessness not just a performance of a professional duty. What he did emodies "the noble values upheld by all security personnel in serving religion and the nation, he added.
