Sultan directs construction of University Hospital in Dibba Al Hisn

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, directed the immediate commencement of the construction of the University Hospital in Dibba Al Hisn city.Last year, Sheikh Sultan called on the people of Dibba Al Hisn to live in the new buildings in Al Hisn Island Residential Complex, which provide all the health and aesthetic specifications, stressing that His Highness has a special love for the city of Dibba Al Hisn, and that its people are kind and friendly, and do not cause any problems.Sheikh Sultan also explained that the streets of the Emirate of Sharjah are named after religious and historical figures who enjoy good reputations. He urged people to learn the stories of these names.Sheikh Sultan has said in a telephone interview on the “Direct Line” programme broadcast on Sharjah Broadcasting Authority: “The city of Dibba Al Hisn is dear to us. The people of this city are kind and generous, and we do not receive any complaints from any of them. There is harmony among the city’s tribes. When I called the city of Dibba Al Hisn “the virtuous city,” it was because I did not receive any complaints from them, and there are no disputes between them in the courts. Thanks be to God, this situation has begun to prevail in the cities of Khorfakkan and Kalba, where we no longer receive any problems from them, because people are preoccupied with their love for their country. We always hope that people will be comfortable in their lives, and that they will all agree on what is good.”Sheikh Sultan added: “The issue of developing the old town from within is one of the things that I give great attention to. We take specific areas for the residents of the area to be developed to live in. We cannot bring construction and development companies into the area to be developed while its residents are present there, in order to protect its people, women and children.""It is worth noting that the new buildings that we have built for the residents in Al Hisn Island residential complex are characterised by fresh air, a beautiful view and a clean place. When someone resides in these buildings, he sees the sea from one side and the mountain range from the other side. The view is wonderful. These buildings are also characterised by cleanliness and no possibility of sewage leakage into the house," he had said.
