Signature Zones: From Speakeasies to Sleep Suites

The lounge is divided into two primary sections—Business and First Class—each featuring specialized zones tailored to different traveler temperaments.

  1. The Aviator’s Bar: A nostalgic, speakeasy-themed bar inspired by JRD Tata’s 1932 Karachi-to-Bombay flight. The ceiling features a stunning replica of the Puss Moth aircraft propeller.

  2. The Globetrotter’s Study: A quiet zone for professionals and readers. It offers high-speed Wi-Fi, soundproof work pods, and a curated library.

  3. The Serenity Area: A dimly lit relaxation zone equipped with individual recliners for passengers needing a quick recharge.

  4. First Class Sleep Suites: Exclusive to First Class passengers, these private suites feature full-sized beds and ambient lighting, perfect for those on long-haul transits to London or New York.

  5. The Crystal Bar: The centerpiece of the First Class section, offering premium champagnes and a view of the tarmac for plane-spotters.

Dining & “Beverage on Wheels”: A Culinary Upgrade

Air India has revamped its ground dining to mirror its improved in-flight menus

  • Live Cooking Stations: Chefs prepare regional Indian delicacies and international favorites on demand.

  • Beverage on Wheels: Inspired by traditional gueridon service, a mobile bar brings bespoke cocktails directly to your seat.

  • Innovative Tea Programme: A dedicated tea trolley serves freshly brewed artisanal blends accompanied by traditional Indian snacks like shakarpala and mathri.

Heritage Meets Modernity: The Design Philosophy

Designed by the world-renowned Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), the lounge marks the first physical manifestation of Air India’s new branding.
