UAE backs Oman-hosted US–Iran dialogue

Abu Dhabi welcomed the announcement of talks between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran to be hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, describing the move as a constructive step that could ease regional tensions and reinforce diplomatic pathways in the Gulf. The United Arab Emirates said the decision to engage through dialogue reflects a shared recognition that negotiation remains the most effective means to address complex security and political challenges.
