UAE weather: Light rains expected; low of 16ºC in Dubai

The weather on Tuesday, January 6, is expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with low clouds set to appear over the islands and the sea westward, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The forecast also states there is a probability of light rainfall.

Conditions are likely to get humid by night and Wednesday morning over some internal and western coastal areas, with a chance of fog or mist formation.

Light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds are expected to blow, freshening at times, with a speed of 10-25 km/h, reaching 35 km/h.

The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Temperatures are expected to dip to a low of 15ºC in Sharjah and 16ºC in Dubai. Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi will see a drop to 16ºC. The emirates will witness highs of 25ºC, 25ºC and 26ºC, respectively.
