Updated Parents’ Portal guide launched
The Ministry of Education has unveiled an updated and detailed guide for navigating the Parents’ Portal during the 2026-2027 academic year, offering parents the ability to track school-related procedures online. The Ministry outlined the portal’s access process and steps for updating student information.Access is facilitated through the UAE Pass account, which is connected to the digital identity system for secure authentication.Additionally, the portal includes a data synchronisation feature, enabling parents to view all their children registered under their account, regardless of whether they are enrolled in public or private schools. The system provides parents with the ability to update key information such as contact numbers shared between them and the school, transportation preferences, and residential addresses. It also allows them to upload necessary documents based on the specific requirements of their emirate.Additionally, parents can monitor the progress of their application online through a specialised menu. Here, they receive updates on whether their application is under review, approved, or sent back for additional requirements. In line with the guidelines, data is automatically updated as soon as it is approved by the relevant staff member, removing the need for manual re-entry. This simplifies processes, minimises administrative errors, and boosts overall school efficiency.Additionally, the system supports the electronic signing and approval of the partnership agreement between the school and parents following the data update. This measure reinforces the principle of shared responsibility while improving communication and collaboration between families and the school. The release of the guide aligns with the Ministry’s strategy to improve the accuracy of student data and elevate the quality of services offered to users. This is achieved through a unified digital platform that facilitates access to student files, enables the updating of personal information, and allows for the monitoring of requests until they receive approval from school administrations.
