WKF president Espinos meets UAE Karate Federation officials, hails cooperation
Major General (Ret.) Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al Razooqi, President of both the UAE and Asian Karate Federations and Vice President of the World Karate Federation, received Antonio Espinos, President of the World Karate Federation, as part of the final preparations for the Youth Karate World League Championship, which will be held in the Fujairah from February 12 to 15.The coordination meeting was attended byRashid Abdul Majeed Al Ali, Vice President of both the UAE and Asian Karate Federations, Executive Board Member of the World Karate Federation and and Vice President of the Championship’s Supreme Organizing Committee; Mohamed Abbas, Technical Director of the Championship, member of the World Federation’s Technical Committee, and Executive Director of the UAE Karate Federation.The meeting discussed the organizational arrangements and procedures required to ensure the success of the championship, in addition to points related to the safety of the participating athletes.At the conclusion of the meeting, Major General Razooqi, Chairman of the Championship’s Supreme Organizing Committee, expressed his pleasure in hosting global karate events in the UAE.He emphasized the high regard the World Karate Federation holds for the UAE’s precise organization of such events and noted that the International Federation trusts the UAE’s ability to manage world-class championships efficiently.Espinos said: "We are pleased to be in the UAE.
